Award for PERPLEXUS project

Congratulations! The project "PERPLEXUS - Pervasive computing framework for modeling complex virtually unbound systems" managed by SCIPROM won the prize in the Future and Emerging Technologies category at the NASA/ASE AHS conference (Edinburgh 5-8 Aug 2007).

The PERPLEXUS "ubidules", little collaborative robots, and their award even made the news: The Swiss newspaper "24 heures" imagines them in outer space soon ...

FP7 guidelines for audit certification of financial statements and - new - on the methodology

On 23 July 2007, FP7 guidelines for audit certification were published.

These guidance notes have been compiled to guide research beneficiaries and certifying entities in the preparation of certificates on the financial statements and on the methodology for calculating personnel costs/indirect costs under the European Community's 7th RTD Framework Programme (FP7).

The objective of these guidance notes is to give an overview of the requirements and provisions which are of importance in claiming costs for reimbursement and hence in the certification of financial statements and - new in FP7 - on the methodology.
