New Euratom Research and Training Work Programme 2023-2025 just Published

The objective of the programme is to pursue nuclear research and training activities, with an emphasis on the continuous improvement of nuclear safety, security and safeguards, radioactive waste management and radiation protection and to complement the achievement of Horizon Europe’s objectives.

With a total budget of €132 million, the call with 11 topics is open for submission of proposals from 4 April 2023. Deadline is set on 8 November 2023.

Information Event on the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships

Euresearch is organising an online info event on 25 April 2023 about the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF).

This free-of-charge event is intended to researchers, supervisors and host institutions from the academic as well as private sector who would like to know more about the specifics of the MSCA PF call 2023, eligibility criteria, award criteria, evaluation, proposal structure, submission and where to get support.

Participation in the MSCA PF call 2023 with a Swiss host institution will also be covered.

Europe's Beating Cancer Plan: Launch of the European Cancer Imaging Initiative

In January, the European Commission launched the European Cancer Imaging Initiative, one of the flagship actions under Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.

The aim of the European Cancer Imaging Initiative is to achieve more precise and faster clinical decision-making, diagnostics, treatments and predictive medicine for cancer patients. It will develop and provide the necessary digital infrastructures to allow healthcare providers, research institutes and innovators to use available imaging data for new solutions in treatment and care.

Press release of the i-EDGE project

The i-EDGE project has just released its first press release!

i-EDGE is a research project co-funded by the EU, UK and Switzerland to build a next-generation hardware platform for edge computing using nanomechanical relays capable of resisting harsh environmental conditions (extreme temperature and high radiation).

SCIPROM has been involved in i-EDGE to accompany and support the project since the proposal preparation phase. We now contribute our management and communication expertise.
